Travis Wills visits Reno Green for step 2 of Go-Live: setting up their system for estimates, pricing and loading their valuable Nevada and California client contracts.
Headquarters: Reno, NV
Years In Business: 42
Services:Commercial and Residential Landscape Design, Construction, Maintenance, and Irrigation/Water Conservation
Stemming from a one-person operation in 1975, Reno Green Landscaping grew into a full-service landscape firm that is well known for creating and maintaining beautiful landscapes in Northern Nevada and California.
The first GO LIVE milestone in deploying the Aspire landscape management business software is estimating. It is central to the functionality of the system because every job starts with a price and a contract.
This usually requires a lengthy process of translating existing Excel spreadsheets into the Aspire template model, which includes everything needed to bid a job:
item types and costs
pricing (Multiple Overhead Recovery – markups on labor and materials with an added profit margin)
ALL of this has to be loaded into the system to create templates. These templates dramatically improve the speed and consistency of estimates. With a template, there is no need to reenter information on every bid – the account manager knows the info is complete and priced the same way every time.
The team of Reno Greenworked with Aspire’s Travis Wills to achieve this deployment milestone. They were trained on how to transform their multiple spreadsheets and client contracts into Aspire templates so that they could immediately start bidding and managing new work.
Reno Green achieved a critical work transition that includes full integration and real-time information. They successfully:
moved from spreadsheets to active and integrated sales management in Aspire
designed reports for managing the sales and bidding process
created a system that will price work more accurately and consistently
made it possible for everyone to be more productive and connected in the sales and production work flow
The next and final deployment milestone is Production GO LIVE, where the work order tickets (created by the estimates) are employed in all future scheduling, purchasing, billing and job costing.
Aspire wants to thank Scott and Carrie Owen, Ryan Harvey, Kit Magpantay and Lyndy Woodward for bringing our service into their organization.
