The training for many software systems has a defined end – whether the user still has questions or not. Aspire commits to ongoing training, not only regarding its own software, but industry and business best practices to help its clients grow.
Aspire’s Jon Gohl stopped in to Heaviland Landscape Management, north of San Diego, to help the company’s power users brush up on their Aspire system useage and teach others how to use the system more effectively.
The visit resulted in some new best practices for Heaviland’s software use:
Work teams held accountable for learning, teaching and using the system
Improved team scheduling and time reporting procedures
Order and contract changes are made in real time with auto budget and timeline corrections
Learned the difference between earned vs. invoiced revenue for reporting
Teams can create “Quick Tickets” and add the correct type of notes to existing tickets
Workers can allocate inventory from their mobile devices
Teams can better track project communications from sales to installation
Heaviland is holding “train the trainer” meetings so that the new skills the core team learned with Jon can be cascaded quickly throughout the organization to boost efficiency and reporting.
Aspire wishes to thank Leann Storino, Robert Garcia and Leticia Benitez from the Heaviland team for their commitment its software and the constant improvement of their company.
