GrassCor contracted with Aspire to help them do what they do best, and put the focus back from business dealings to beautiful landscaping.
Headquarters: Madeira, OH
Years In Business: 11
Services:Residential Landscape Design, Maintenance, Tree & Shrub Services
GrassCor is one of the Cincinnati area’s premier turf conditioning, grounds maintenance and residential landscape companies. They pride themselves in show-quality results and specialty services such as site revitalization and insect/disease control.
After studying civil engineering and construction management at Southeast Missouri State, Kevin Larson answered the call of the great outdoors to become maintenance superintendnant at Scott Air Force Base (at 23 years old). He has been involved in all facets of the landscape industry ever since, but finds the most fulfillment in mentoring and creating opportunities for future leadership and business excellence.
Aspire’s motto is, “You take care of the customer, we’ll take care of your business.” Cincinnati area GrassCor is in a situation where that phrase couldn’t be more musical to their ears. With a lack of dedicated office administration, GrassCor was up to its knees in paperwork instead of service management – communicating effectively with their customers.
Aspire’s Kevin Larson came to the rescue to teach GrassCor’s employees how to use the Aspire system to efficiently keep track of the company’s business operations so its employees could get some much-needed time in front of their clients.
This is why clients choose and pay Aspire – service, support and the all-important installation and training of the software. The best software poorly installed and trained is a recipe for dissatisfaction and problems.
That is why Aspire provides industry experts to work with each client through the installation and deployment process.
After this installation working session and visit, the GrassCor team was able to:
Use CRM features to create templates for real-time job estimating making proposals look consistent and price correctly.
Use the Outlook calendar synchronization to track projects and communicate with anyone from anywhere.
Eliminate multiple spreadsheets and put job estimating duties in one place where they can not only be tracked in the sales pipeline, but move through a review and approval process.
Use pre-populated issues and task lists to quickly dispatch teams to the highest priority properties for service calls and requests (the Issues feature in Aspire allows for management of this information between team members and the client through issue resolution).
GrassCor is continuing to define and use CRM – Customer Relationship Management – best practices. Under the guidance of the Aspire deployment team, they plan to set up and use the system properly the first time, saving pain and frustration while expanding their business.
Aspire wishes to thank Alex at GrassCor and his team for their hard work and dedication to constant improvement within their company.
